Review of Basic Sewing Machine Skills: Spend an afternoon reviewing and practicing the basic skills used in operating your own home sewing
machine. Become more confident in using your machine. 

Basic skills include the following:
Filling a bobbin, Threading your machine, Changing the needle, Sewing an even and straight seam, Chain piecing, Adjusting the tension, Cleaning the bobbin area, Dropping and raising the Feed Dogs, Changing the feet, Choosing correct thread and needle, Stitching an accurate ¼” seam
allowance, Adjusting the pressure on the presser foot, Moving the needle position, Bringing up the bobbin thread.
