The tenth annual South Central Wisconsin Quilters Road Trip will be held Wednesday, July 23 through Sunday, July 27. At each store you will receive a free fat quarter and a free pattern using the Wyoming Star. Each store has designed a project using the Wyoming Star and will have kits available. Twenty-six fabulous prizes will be given out. We will draw from returned passports. Our two grand prizes are a $200 gift certificate for the long arm quilter of your choice and a $200 gift certificate at a quilting retreat of your choice. You must visit all twelve stores to be eligible for the grand prizes. Twelve first prizes will be drawn from passports stamped with at least nine stores. Twelve second prizes will be drawn from passports stamped with at least six stores. Pick up your free passport at the first store you visit. Core shop hop hours are 9:30-6:00 Wednesday through Saturday and 12:00-4:00 on Sunday. If a store is normally open longer hours, they will be open their regular hours. Buses visiting six stores each day will run on Thursday and Friday. Bus reservation forms are available at each participating store and must be postmarked by June 25. This year we have twelve stores participating: Mill House Quilts, Waunakee, Attic Quilts, Beloit, Homespun Fabrics, Endeavor, Patches and Petals, Belleville, Stitcher’s Crossing, Madison, Village Creek, Lodi, Uniquely Yours, Orangeville, IL, JJ Stitches, Sun Prairie, Saving Thyme, Stoughton, Country Sampler, Spring Green, and Quintessential Quilts in Reedsburg and Baraboo. Mark your calendars now for a fun week. If you would like a flyer mailed to you, call the store at 608 849-6473, or send an email to info@millhousequilts.com.
